Non-Owner Property and Tax Lookup

As of October 1, 2010 the charge for property and tax information per property is $2.00 online, and $5.00 in person over the counter. Tax and property information is no longer provided to non-owners over the phone, or by fax or email.

How to Access Records as a Non-owner

Please read instructions before Proceeding

  1. Perform a search that references the property. Note: address with N or W before the number are not within Iron Mountain city limits, contact Breitung Township for these addresses.
  2. Select the parcel number that references the property.
  3. Towards the bottom of the page there will be a form to enter credit card information to pay the $2.00. After the transaction is completed the record will show.

Payment to access records online is handled exclusively by the service provider BS&A Internet Services directly through the website. BS&A offers multiple ways to pay such as quarterly invoicing, pre-paying, or pay-as-you-go with a credit card. Contact BS&A at 517-641-8900 for more information.

User Accounts for Non-Owners

You do not need to create a user account when paying-as-you-go on a record by record basis, however, you will need to use a credit card each time you want to view a record.

Setting up an account will allow monthly billing or pre-paying options. The user account will work for any municipality that uses BS&A Internet Services anywhere in the U.S.

Over Counter Charge

In addition to the new online charge, there is an over-the-counter charge for any property or tax related information requested by non-owners. The charge is $5.00 per record payable in person on a record by record basis. Invoicing is not currently available for over-the-counter requests.

Property owners may request their information without charge at any time.

Delinquent Taxes and Special Assessments

Delinquent real and personal property are not displayed online. Any special assessments levied will show under the tax bill breakdowns.

Delinquent real taxes are transferred over to Dickinson County after March 1 of each year and payments made to the county will NOT appear on our website. Delinquents can now be viewed online at the Dickinson County Property Lookup.

Delinquent personal property taxes (aka business furniture and equipment) are kept in-house and only available over the counter at City Hall.
