The Iron Mountain Police Department is committed to protecting, preserving and enhancing the quality of life in the Iron Mountain Community through a fair and effective delivery of services.

The Iron Mountain Police Department is staffed with A Director of Police and Fire Services, a Deputy Director of Police Services, 1 Patrol Lieutenant, 2 Detective Lieutenants, 3 Patrol Sergeants, 5 Patrol Officers, 1 civilian dispatcher and 1 civilian clerk.

The Iron Mountain Police Department commits officers to both the Dickinson County multi-jurisdictional Drug team better known as KIND, (Kingsford, Iron Mountain, Norway, Dickinson County) and the Critical Incident Response Team known as CIRT.

Citizens can now leave anonymous tips. The Crime Solvers anonymous online tip form is now available. Freedom of Information Act Records Requests
