The Notify Me Service allows the City of Iron Mountain to send electronic notices, alerts, and information to subscribed users.

Residents and business owners of the entire community can now receive important emergency and other time sensitive notifications via email, cell phone or pager!

  • What is SMS? Read about the City’s free WISE Alerts service.

  • Please read the full instructions for this service before subscribing to any WISE Alerts lists below.

  • Example for subscribing a cell phone or pager: 9061112222@yourcarrier.com

  • You must choose the "Email Type" of TEXT if subscribing your cellphone.

    • The City of Iron Mountain will continue to add new categories of information and notifications. You should check back regularly to see if there are any new informational categories you wish to subscribe to.

    		You will be notified when the City is taking bids.

    		Use cell phone in email box above (Example: 9061112222@mobile.celloneusa.com) You will receive a text message to your cellphone when a new Council Meeting Audio file becomes available. You can then dial the number listed and listen to the latest council meeting by phone. Go to www.cityofironmountain.com/podcast for instructions.

    		Sign up to be notified of flower removal, spring cleanning and other seasonal information.

    		Receive updated information and keep informed of all actions relating to the startup of a community garden in Iron Mountain. See www.cityofironmountain.com/cg for more information.

    		You will be notified about current City construction projects and schedules.

    		You will be notified of dates and times of all public meetings of the common council and individual council committees.

    		This list will notify you with DPW announcements. Announcements include Leaf Collection Schedules, Spring Yard Waste Collection, Spring Garbage Collection at Street Side, etc.

    		From time to time job positions become available. Sign up to this list to be notified when jobs become available.

    		Events and News about Farmers Market

    		This list is for those who would like to be notified as new features, services, or sections of content are added to our website.

    		You will be notified when we begin accepting payments online.

    		In the event of an Amber Alert (possible child abduction)you will be notified via text message to your mobile phone. Please note, you must return to this page and unsubscribe if you wish to be removed from this list later.

    		In the event of Severe Fire Emergencies and Evacuations you will be notified via text message to your mobile phone. Please note, you must return to this page and unsubscribe if you wish to be removed from this list later.

    		In the event of Road Closures due to construction etc. you will be notified via text message to your mobile phone. Please note, you must return to this page and unsubscribe if you wish to be removed from this list later.
