Notice of Civil Service Exam
The City of Iron Mountain will be holding the Civil Service Exam for Street Department-General Laborer. Test applicants can apply until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, 501 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, MI 49801. The testing date will be Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this examination is to establish a list of applicants only. In the event a position for hire becomes available applicants on the existing list will be contacted. Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class “A” with an endorsement for air brakes at the time of testing. Read More

A records fee has been added for production of information requested by NON OWNERS. Due to the up front records fee, requests can not be accommodated by phone or fax. Non-owners can use the online lookup, or make a request in person at City Hall. Read More
