Public Notice
The City Household Rubbish Drop-off will take place on May 17, May 18, and May 20, 2023, in front of the DPW Building, located at 125 N. Stephenson Ave. The hours for the drop-off on May 17th and May 18th will be 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on May 20th. Please note that the drop-off is provided for residents who pay a garbage fee, so please have a copy of your utility bill and driver’s license available at the time of drop-off. Residents that reside in rental units are asked to file a form through their landlord with the Department of Public Works. The following items are prohibited for the purposes of the Household Rubbish Drop-off: Liquid or Hazardous Waste, Freon containing appliances, Batteries, Oil, Paint, Anti-freeze, Compressed gas tanks and Regular garbage.
